Special Education Consulting
Provide support for parents/guardians navigating the special education system
Assist parents/guardians with at home support that aligns with IEP goals
Develop recommendations for assessments
Establish recommendations for assistive technology, both for school, home, and community environments
Transition Support (Ages 14 - 21)
Provide post-secondary resources (education, training, and employment)
Determine independent learning goals
Review IEP post-secondary services
Post-Secondary Mentorship
Help identify best-fit post-secondary options (college, trade, tech, or certificate)
Help support with applications and accommodation requests
Teach self-advocacy skills
Provide mentorship in the following categories
Course management selection
Time organization
How to communicate with professors/teachers
Study/homework skills
Identifying campus resources
College Bound NCAA Student-Athletes
Help families understand the NCAA Eligibility Center requirements (Core GPA, ACT/SAT, and high school course work)
Create a road map for eligibility, especially for student-athletes looking to compete in DI or DII
Assist families with the recruiting process
Help student-athletes build a schedule for their coursework
Tutoring Services
Specialized tutoring in reading, writing, math, and other school subjects
Work on IEP goals outside of the classroom
Provide support for specific learning disabilities and mentorship of K-12 students

Review IEPs for gaps and improvements
Attend IEP meetings as either an advocate or an expert
Help establish realistic goals for academic success
Nine Key Components of an IEP

Progress on the prior year’s goals.

Current abilities, strengths, and needs or challenges.

How the student will make progress toward goals, plus how progress will be measured.

Clear and measurable goals to work on in the upcoming year in each domain with a demonstrated need.

What services the student will receive and for how long.

Time outside of general education must be justified and based on the student’s needs.
